The author of two award-winning documentaries, Thin and The Queen of Versailles, American photographer and director Lauren Greenfield has published a monograph of 650 shots in saturated colours accompanied by 150 comments by the personalities presented in the book, highlighting the incredible lives of the gilded youth and jet-setters around the world.
For the last 20 years Lauren Greenfield has been photographing the kids of California: the very rich and the very famous. A teenage Kim Kardashian, Tupac, David and Jackie Siegel, parties in Las Vegas nightclubs and Californian pool parties, Russian oligarchs and rich Chinese property owners, she portrays them without judging, capturing the incredible lives and extravagances of those who have it all.
